A 44-year-old tourist from Boston tragically lost her life in a shark attack on Monday while paddleboarding off the coast of Nassau, Bahamas.
The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. near a resort in western New Providence. The victim, whose name has not been disclosed, suffered significant trauma to the right side of her body.

The woman was paddleboarding with a male family member approximately a mile from the shoreline when the shark attack took place.
