A 44-year-old Florida woman, Sandra Jimenez, finds herself behind bars after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend with rabies needles. The shocking episode unfolded during a heated argument about the boyfriend looking at other women.
Jimenez faces charges of aggravated battery in connection with the incident that took place at the couple’s shared home, as detailed in an arrest affidavit from the Miami-Dade Police Department.
Jealousy Turns Dangerous
According to the affidavit obtained by FOX 35 Orlando, officers responded to a hospital following a report of a man who had been stabbed in the eye with a needle.
The victim narrated to the police that Jimenez had used their dogs’ rabies needles to pierce his right eyelid during the argument, escalating the confrontation to a dangerous level.
The account suggests that Jimenez, fueled by jealousy, reportedly jumped on her boyfriend, who had been lying on the couch, and proceeded to stab him with the rabies needles. Upon realizing the severity of her actions, she allegedly left their home.

The victim, in considerable distress, promptly called 911, and he was swiftly transported to a hospital for medical attention. At the hospital, he shared details with law enforcement officers about the alarming attack.
In a subsequent search, police located Jimenez sleeping in her car outside the couple’s home and took her into custody. During questioning, Jimenez purportedly claimed that her boyfriend’s injuries were “self-inflicted,” offering a different narrative to the events described by the victim.
As of now, Sandra Jimenez remains in custody at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, with her bond set at $7,500, according to available arrest records.
The incident highlights the intersection of domestic disputes, jealousy, and the alarming use of unconventional weapons, leaving authorities and the public bewildered by the extreme lengths to which the confrontation escalated.
