A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded in Billings, Montana, as one-year-old Tatee’K Morrison lost his life just one day before his first birthday.
The young child’s death was a result of a sequence of events that began with a fatal shooting that claimed the life of his father, Kenneth Morrison.
Montana Horrific Tragedy Unfolds
The devastating incident occurred on November 1, inside a home where the father and son were present. Unidentified suspects in a pick-up truck approached the residence, firing multiple rounds, and subsequently sped away from the scene.
The shocking violence left the community shaken, and the police responded to the incident around 10 a.m. Upon arriving at the location, officers discovered around 25 shell casings of two different calibers scattered in the street.
With no response at the residence, they took immediate action, forcibly entering the premises. Inside, they found Kenneth Morrison tragically deceased on the floor, a victim of the initial shooting.

Father’s Unintentional Tragedy
In a heart-wrenching turn of events, officers also found one-year-old Tatee’K, who had become unresponsive. It appeared that the adult had succumbed to his wounds and unintentionally collapsed onto the child. Both victims were rushed to the hospital, where the young boy tragically lost his life.
In the aftermath of this shocking incident, several individuals were taken into custody, though no arrests related to the shooting have been made at this time.
The community has been left in shock and mourning, with Tatee’K’s uncle, Zack Wilson, expressing his disbelief at the escalating violence in Billings.
Wilson shared that the family had been preparing to celebrate Tatee’K’s first birthday just a day after the tragic event. They remember the child with love and affection and wish him a happy birthday in spirit.
The loss of a young, innocent life is a stark reminder of the devastating impact of gun violence, which continues to affect communities across the nation.
