COVID hospitalizations are surging in the U.S. as students return to school, ahead of fall vaccination rollout.

Based on the information, new hospital admissions surged by more than 30% in Arkansas, Kansas, Minnesota, Colorado, Indiana, Oklahoma, Utah, Tennessee, as well as Wyoming over the last week.
The late summer COVID increase follows a tranquil year in which fatalities and hospitalizations have fallen week after week since January.
