Changing Economic Trajectory: Biden’s Agenda
Every day of the Biden-Harris administration, we keep moving forward, he continued.That means essentially abandoning trickle-down economics, which has failed America, particularly Black Americans, over the past several decades despite promising prosperity.
Biden frequently expresses his dissatisfaction with trickle-down economics and his desire to build the economy instead from the middle out and from the bottom up, which forms the basis of his economic strategy, known as Bidenomics.
It is more difficult for Black Americans to start a business, purchase a home, send their children to school, and retire with dignity, according to Biden’s article in the Post.
Trickle-down economics has exacerbated inequality and systemic barriers. Vice President Harris and I entered office with the intention of changing the nation’s economic trajectory and fostering bottom-up, middle-out growth rather than top-down growth.
According to Biden, his agenda, which includes significant legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act and the bipartisan infrastructure law, is advancing equity and investing in Black Americans.

Housing, Education, and Equality: Biden’s Focus
He also praised the initiatives his government has taken to end housing discrimination, support historically Black schools and universities, and work toward student loan forgiveness.
The president also mentioned the recent tragic shooting in Jacksonville, Florida, which he claimed was reportedly fueled by hate-filled animus.
Authorities claim that a white shooter shot and murdered three Black people on Saturday in Jacksonville near a historically Black university. As soon as possible, officials labeled the act as racially motivated.
