House Democrat Dismisses GOP’s Witness for Lack of Evidence Against Hunter Biden

In an intense two-hour testimony, Devon Archer, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, failed to provide any evidence linking President Joe Biden to acts of corruption, according to Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.).

The interview, sought by Republicans to establish a connection between Hunter Biden’s business dealings and alleged wrongdoing by the President, yielded no smoking guns, leaving the claims unsupported.

Hunter Biden’s Former Partner Fails to Link President Biden to Corruption

Despite repeated allegations, Archer confirmed that he never witnessed the elder Biden discussing business matters with his son.

The former business partner recalled several instances of Hunter Biden putting his father on speakerphone during casual conversations with other associates, which included no discussions related to business dealings.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who was present during the interview, declined to divulge specific details but described the session as productive.

Meanwhile, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.), leading the Republican investigation, had previously expressed hopes that Archer would reveal crucial information.

However, Archer’s testimony countered claims of bribery and corrupt dealings involving Joe Biden and the Ukrainian gas company Burisma.

Archer refuted any knowledge of $5 million payments to the Bidens, and on the broader allegation that Hunter Biden sold access to his father, he stated that Hunter only created the illusion of access.

In an intense two-hour testimony, Devon Archer, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, failed to provide any evidence linking President Joe Biden to acts of corruption, according to Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.).

This contradicts previous accusations that Joe Biden took self-serving actions related to Ukraine during his time as vice president.

Archer’s credibility was previously questioned due to a conviction for defrauding a Native tribe in a fake investment scheme.

While free on appeal, the Justice Department requested a court to set a date for Archer’s surrender.

Some Republicans alleged that the department’s actions aimed to intimidate a key witness, but those claims have been debunked.

White House spokesperson Ian Sams highlighted the testimony, where Archer confirmed the absence of business discussions between Hunter and Joe Biden, as yet another instance where House Republicans‘ claims against the President lack evidence.

Despite continuous promises of explosive evidence, Republicans have repeatedly failed to substantiate their allegations, leaving their claims unsupported.
