The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients and retired workers both get payments each month from the Social Security Administration (SSA).
Even though the SSA has already sent the first four payments for June, the distribution process is still ongoing, and some claimants will still be eligible to receive $1,800 in June.
Criteria For Receiving $1800 In Social Security
The cost of living adjustment of 8.7 percent in 2023 caused the average pension payment for pensioners to rise to 1,836.06 in May.
The total amount sent, however, may be closer to the maximum benefit amount for those who made higher incomes over the course of their careers: $2,572 for those who retire at age sixty-two, $3,627 for those who do so at age sixty-seven, and $4,555 for those who do so at age seventy or older.
SSI (Supplemental Security Income) payouts are typically $675.10 per month. When both spouses are qualified for benefits, the maximum monthly SSI amount is $1,371 for married couples and $914 for single people.

SSI And Social Security Deposits In Advance
However, there are times when the payment is advanced to the Friday prior if the first day of the month falls on a Saturday or Sunday.
Since this is the case in July, SSI recipients should expect to see their check deposited on Friday, June 30. In July, no checks will be deposited.
Payments from Social Security are distributed on the third of every month to beneficiaries who started receiving benefits prior to 1997.
Beneficiaries will get their payment paid the Friday before the third, if it falls on a Sunday. Payments are issued based on the date of birth for retirees who left the working after 1997.
