Vladimir Putin Plane Reportedly Disappears from Radar on Route to Valdai

According to the Belarusian Hajun monitoring project on Telegram on June 24, which cited information from the Flightradar24 service, Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin plane departed Moscow on the afternoon of June 24 during an ongoing uprising led by PMC Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin.

At 14:16 local time, a Russian government Il-96-300PU took off from Vnukovo Airport and made its way to Putin’s home in Valdai.

Vladimir Putin Departure Amidst Rebellion

Despite the fact that the Russian tyrant had used the plane previously multiple times, Hajun said it was unknown who was on board.

According to Important Stories (IStories), an independent Russian website, the plane purportedly vanished from radars near the Russian city of Tver (approximately 150 kilometers from Valdai) on June 24,t he aircraft is fitted to control the armed forces.

Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told the state-run TASS news agency that his boss “is working in the Kremlin” when asked about his whereabouts.

Reports of Putin’s Departure and Escalating Conflict with PMC Wagner

According to an anonymous source in the Ukrainian special services, “Putin is leaving Moscow, he is being escorted to Valdai,”  the Ukrainian online daily Ukrainska Pravda.

Another Russian special forces plane had landed in St. Petersburg as of 3 pm local time, according to The Insider, a Russian investigative media project.

As per to the independent news source Mozhem Obyasnit, at least three flights operated by the Special Flight Unit Rossiya of the Russian President’s Administration have already left for St. Petersburg as Russian officials flee from Moscow on business jets.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of PMC Wagner Group, allegedly attacked his mercenaries’ military camp on June 23 and then declared war on the Russian Defense Ministry.

Wagner mercenaries reportedly took control of Russian military installations in Rostov and Voronezh as of June 24.
