D-SNAP applicants will not have their retirement assets or disaster-related payouts from governmental or non-governmental groups taken into consideration.

People will only get a month’s worth of benefits if they are chosen. Any self-attestation submitted to DPHSS in order to apply for D-SNAP benefits is subject to any audit demands enacted by the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) under the USDA.
