June 2023 Check Amounts and Eligibility Details

California’s Middle-Classes fund program started issuing payments last fall.

According to the state’s Franchise Tax Board, around 32 million taxpayers and their dependents are eligible for payments of up to $1,050.

However, it was discovered early this year that over a million Californians had not activated the debit cards that held their money. They will lose their value in 2026.

A reminder letter with instructions on activating their debit card will be sent to recipients who have not done so. If you received one of those letters but don’t have a debit card, call Money Network at 1-800-240-0223 to request your reimbursement.

Georgia will deliver 2022 Surplus Tax Refund checks in the amount of $500 for married joint filers, $375 for heads of households, and up to $250 for single or married separate filers.

Financially disadvantaged Americans may no longer receive federal stimulus money.

According to the state’s Department of Revenue, taxpayers who filed by the deadline of April 18 should wait six to eight weeks for refunds to be issued. That implies that some people might get their payouts in June.

As part of a bigger Emergency Winter Energy Relief Plan, Maine is providing funds to qualified residents to assist them with the high energy expenses.

The anticipated 880,000 Maine residents who met the income standards and filed their 2021 Maine income tax returns as full-year residents no later than October 31, 2022 will each get $450, with married couples and families receiving $900.
