Donald Trump’s astonishing knack for grifting is matched only by the perpetually available pool of Trump-supporting targets.
Supporters of former President Trump have allegedly been purchasing Trump Bucks, only to discover that they hold no legal value as currency. Remarkably, individuals who bought these Trump Bucks with genuine U.S. dollars expected to redeem them for a higher monetary value at financial institutions.
Donald Trump’s Involvement in Trump Bucks Scheme Unclear
A media outlet, which reported on this incident in late May, attempted to obtain a comment from Trump regarding his involvement with Trump Bucks but received no response. It remains unclear whether Trump is personally connected to this venture or if unscrupulous individuals exploited his image for their own deceptive scheme.
The companies identified as the manufacturers of these bucks are Patriots Dynasty, Patriots Future, and USA Patriots, all of which allegedly conducted misleading advertising campaigns on right-wing social media platforms, falsely assuring prospective buyers that Trump Bucks could be exchanged for cash.
The fraudulent nature of this scheme came to light when Trump supporters attempted to redeem their purchased Trump Bucks at banks, only to be informed that they had fallen victim to a scam.

Trump Supporters Repeatedly Fall for Scams
Trump Bucks represent just one instance in a series of instances where Donald Trump, along with other opportunistic individuals riding on his coattails, has deceived people to gain access to their money.
In a recent development, Donald Trump released a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) featuring his likeness in various fictional roles such as a cowboy or astronaut. The images themselves, even without considering the stolen art used in some cases, elicit amusement due to their absurdity.
While a rational individual would not deem these NFTs worthy of monetary investment, the quintessential Trump supporter is someone who is easily misled. They perceive these purchases as astute investments that showcase their intelligence and sophistication.
It is unsurprising that there exists a significant overlap between Trump supporters and individuals susceptible to other types of scams, including NFTs and cryptocurrencies.
These scams entice their victims with the prospect of desirable rewards, such as restoring national greatness, elevating social status, or amassing substantial wealth. Tragically, many of these victims fail to learn from their mistakes and continue to fall prey to subsequent scams, perpetuating a cycle of deception.
