To conclude his trip, he treated approximately 100 employees at Tesla’s Shanghai facility to burgers and soft drinks and then departed for the United States on his private jet from Shanghai’s Hongqiao airport on Thursday.

This week, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, completed his trip to China, which included visits to both Beijing and Shanghai.

Grace Tao, Tesla’s Vice President in China, also shared a photo on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, featuring Musk waving to the camera alongside the Shanghai workers.

Earlier in his visit, Musk traveled to Beijing and received a warm welcome as a global idol, similar to the renowned business magnate Jack Ma.

During his visit, Elon Musk actively participated in a series of meetings with influential government officials, among them Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, who holds the esteemed sixth position within the Chinese Communist Party’s Politburo Standing Committee.

This committee, led by President Xi Jinping, wields significant political authority in China.

The encounter between Musk and Ding marked a significant milestone as it represented the first documented instance of a private conversation between Ding and a foreign CEO.

This unprecedented meeting showcased the importance and high regard placed on Musk’s presence and influence within the business and technological realms. It is worth noting that this was not the first time Musk had the opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with esteemed Chinese officials.

In 2019, he had a one-on-one meeting with then-Premier Li Keqiang, further solidifying his standing as a prominent figure in both international business and diplomatic circles.

In addition to the high-level meetings, Musk also attended a banquet hosted by Zeng Yuqun, the esteemed leader of Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL), a renowned and influential battery company.

Overall, Musk’s trip to China was characterized by his active engagement with top-ranking government officials, symbolizing the recognition of his global influence and the mutually beneficial relationships he cultivates within the international business community.
