AI Revolutionizing Biotech: Transforming the landscape of drug development

We possess a strong conviction that artificial intelligence, commonly known as AI, will fundamentally transform our society in the coming decade.

One of the most significant impacts will occur in the healthcare sector, which is why we believe that investing in AI biotech stocks presents an excellent opportunity for substantial financial gains.

Unlocking Economic Value through AI in Biology

Due to a single core component, data, the application of AI in the field of biology has the potential to unlock enormous economic value. Humans can be viewed as nothing more than a network of interrelated data, much like computers.

Fundamentally, computers consist of sequences of 1s and 0s, each representing a specific operation for the computer to execute. Likewise, human DNA follows a similar pattern, where we are composed of As, Gs, Cs, and Ts arranged together.

These four basic types found in human DNA molecules determine an individual’s characteristics, traits, and even behaviors.

We possess a strong conviction that artificial intelligence, commonly known as AI, will fundamentally transform our society in the coming decade.

Ultimately, what is artificial intelligence? It is merely a machine learning algorithm that processes vast amounts of data to acquire the ability to perform specific tasks or a range of tasks. It all boils down to algorithms and data, with data serving as the essential component fueling the model.

The volume and quality of data accessible to an artificial intelligence model directly impact the quality of the model itself.

Regarding the human body, there is an abundance of high-quality data. As previously mentioned, we are nothing more than a compilation of superior genetic data.

Why does the process of discovering new drugs take so long? The realm of biological data is vast, far exceeding that of machine data. Even with the aid of computers, it takes a considerable amount of time for humans to sift through this data, identify the root causes of diseases, and conduct simulations to develop compounds for combating those diseases.

However, artificial intelligence has the potential to automate this entire process. It can analyze human genetic data, detect mutations, and instantly simulate compounds to combat these mutations.

In essence, researchers can utilize artificial intelligence to identify new potential drugs significantly faster than the current methods allow.

For instance, earlier this year, the Japanese pharmaceutical giant Takeda Pharmaceutical purchased an experimental psoriasis drug for $4 billion, which was created in just six months using AI.

Other prominent pharmaceutical companies such as Bayer (BAYRY), Roche (RHHBY), Sanofi (SNY), and AstraZeneca (AZN) are actively leveraging AI technology for the purpose of drug discovery.

The future of AI-powered drug discovery is commencing at this very moment.
