Chinese military encounter with US forces near Hong Kong preceding January 6 Capitol Riot

Three US military aircraft conducted a submarine hunt abnormally close to China’s coastline on January 6, 2021, as supporters of former president Donald Trump gathered outside the Capitol building in Washington the day before the deadly rioting.

It is disclosed for the first time that early in 2021, China and the US engaged in a fierce military conflict that brought them as close as 150 kilometers from Hong Kong.

To prevent Beijing from obtaining its own floating sonars, the US was forced to destroy them.

US Military Aircraft Launched During Capitol Riot

In the first public report on the January 5 event, which saw one anti-submarine plane fly as near as 150 kilometers (93 miles) from Hong Kong, the disclosure is made.

The report was published by a group of Chinese military experts.

According to the source, the PLA, which was conducting a naval drill nearby, quickly sent out a counter force, the number and composition of which are yet unknown.

The US military allegedly self-destroyed its floating sonars to prevent the fragile equipment from falling into China’s hands because the two troops were so close, according to the accusation, which was published on April 25 by the Chinese-language journal Shipboard Electronic Countermeasures.

The source claims that the PLA swiftly dispatched a counter force, the size and make-up of which are still unknown, while a naval drill was being conducted nearby.

The claim was made on April 25 and published in the Chinese-language journal Shipboard Electronic Countermeasures.

It said that because the two forces were so close, the US military self-destroyed their floating sonars to prevent China from obtaining the sensitive technology.

Three US military aircraft conducted a submarine hunt abnormally close to China’s coastline on January 6, 2021.

Only Taipei and Beijing claim the Dongsha islands, in contrast to other disputed islands in the South China Sea where the US has been conducting freedom of navigation operations to counter what it views as disproportionate Chinese claims.

Modern intelligent simulation technology is being used by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in its routine training, which experts claimed on Monday would greatly hasten the development of fighting capabilities.

A brigade attached to the PLA 76th Group Army has reportedly installed the military’s most advanced physiological monitoring and environment conditioning system, which can simulate low-oxygen plateau combat environments at altitudes between 3,500 and 5,000 meters by pumping nitrogen into a small training area, according to a report from China Central Television (CCTV).
