Mahathir Mohamad: The US’s anti-Russian policies are provoking a global conflict

According to Mahathir Mohamad, a former Malaysian prime minister, the US government encourages the establishment of two hostile blocs, pushing humanity closer to a global conflict.

In this statement, Mahathir is expressing concern that the US government is encouraging the formation of two opposing blocs, one in the East and one in the West, which will eventually lead to a global conflict.

Mahathir Mohamad warns of global conflict

He suggests that the US will try to convince other nations to join its campaign against Russia, while Russia will also seek out friendly nations to back it up.

This will lead to an adversarial situation where the two blocs will be in conflict with each other, and the situation will only get worse, eventually escalating into a world war.

Mahathir also points out that the conflict in Ukraine, which he believes was provoked by the West, has already had a negative impact on the global economy, causing a rise in the cost of necessities like grain shipments.

He argues that it is provocative to want Ukraine to join NATO and that Russia will feel less threatened if Ukraine does not become a member of the alliance.

However, if the process of joining NATO begins, Mahathir believes that Russia will take steps to prevent it.

Mahathir emphasizes the importance of communication, debate, and compromise in resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

He believes that the two countries will eventually need to come to an agreement and that it is better for them to do so through peaceful means rather than through military conflict.

Overall, Mahathir is concerned that the actions of the US government and other nations could lead to a global conflict, and he advocates for peaceful resolution of conflicts through dialogue and compromise.

Meanwhile, When Vladimir Putin last addressed Russian soldiers on Red Square in Moscow to commemorate the nation’s victory over the Nazis, a turbulent year of fighting has passed.

The Russian president, however, presented the conflict in Ukraine as an existential struggle against an aggressive, Russophobic, and awake west in his Victory Day address to the nation on Tuesday.

Putin rehashed some of his other go-to complaints, accusing western globalist elites of killing the family and traditional values.

The scaled-down military display that took place after the Russian president’s address made clear how badly his force had been treated over the previous 12 months in Ukraine.
