Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden: What polls say about the upcoming presidential election

Tuesday is reportedly the day that President Joe Biden will begin his 2024 re-election campaign, perhaps setting up a rerun of his battle with then-President Donald Trump from four years prior.

Even though the 2024 presidential election campaign is still in its early stages, all indications point in the same direction. The most likely possibility at this moment is a follow-up to the 2020 Biden-Trump battle.

Joe Biden is Ahead of Points in Polls Against Donald Trump

On the fourth anniversary of the day he announced his bid for president in 2020, on Tuesday, he intends to make an announcement, according to insiders in his administration who spoke to U.S. media last week.

On that day, Biden scheduled one of his favorite activities: a meeting with unions to promote his Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which won Congress’s support for a historic investment.

Since defeating Hillary Clinton in 2016, if Donald Trump is selected as the Republican nominee, it would be his third attempt to win the White House.

According to the poll, which has Biden polling two points ahead of Trump in the general election, Biden’s unpopularity is ultimately meaningless when up against a contender like Trump.

Similar results have been predicted by several registered voter polls conducted during the previous month, particularly in the areas that will likely determine which candidate will return to the White House in 2024.

As the percentage of people who thought the nation and the economy were on the “right track” approached previous high water marks seen during the Biden administration last summer, a Harvard/Harris poll released on Friday shows Trump leading Biden by five points in a potential general election contest.

The fact that neither man is particularly popular in the nation, however, may be the most significant statistic for both men.

In the majority of polls, respondents said they did not want either candidate to run again.
