John Kerry Stresses importance of US and China climate partnership

Even if ties between the two countries are still tight, the US and China must cooperate to achieve the global climate goals, according to John Kerry, the country’s special presidential envoy for the environment.

Kerry acknowledged the difficult problems Beijing and Washington are facing, but he highlighted the urgent need to address climate change.

“I’m not minimizing any of the problems we have with it, he insisted. There are numerous, critical, and important problems. 

But more immediately, the time on the environment is ticking. Additionally, we must make an effort to move.”

The previous high-temperature\ record on April 21 was 87, which was established in 1954.

The annual Dolphy Day festival was held by Le Moyne College students in spite of the unusually warm weather.

The same patterns are being seen globally by scientists.

For weeks, a heat wave has affected most of Asia, including China and India, which together make up a third of the world’s population.
