GOP presidential candidate files lawsuit against world economic forum for unauthorized use of name

On Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy sued the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Cincinnati, Ohio for creating a false perception that he is affiliated with the organization.

According to Ramaswamy’s campaign, the WEF listed him as one of its Young Global Leaders despite his refusal to accept the organization’s invitation to be included on the list and then refused to remove him despite repeated requests to do so.

The World Economic Forum’s Pursuit of Global Equity

Ramaswamy said in a statement that the World Economic Forum’s push for global equity is a major threat to the American way of life. In order to gain freedom from European rule, our forefathers fought in the American Revolution.

The agendas of the World Economic Forum, such as stakeholder capitalism and the Great Reset, represent the return of this old monster.

Ramaswamy added, “That’s why I’m one of the most vocal WEF opponents in the United States, and I’m filing this lawsuit to hold them accountable for creating the false illusion of affiliation to discredit its opponents.”

On Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy sued the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Cincinnati, Ohio for creating a false perception that he is affiliated with the organization.

In response to the World Economic Forum’s decision to include his name and image on the list, the Ramaswamy campaign issued a statement.

An official statement explained that the decision created a false public impression that served WEF’s objectives while undermining Mr. Ramaswamy’s staunch public advocacy against WEF’s globalist agenda.

The criticism that other conservatives have leveled against the organization, namely that it is elitist and out of touch, aligns with his efforts to distance himself from the WEF.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a potential opponent of Ramaswamy, railed against the WEF in his inauguration speech in January, continuing his long-standing criticism of the global leaders participating in its annual gathering in Davos, Switzerland, with the goal of finding global solutions to issues facing the planet, such as climate change, economic issues, and global conflict.
