President Joe Biden reiterated his calls for changes to gun laws in the immediate aftermath of the shootings at an Alabama birthday party and a park in Kentucky.

Meanwhile, in Louisville, Kentucky, a gunman opened fire on a crowd near Chickasaw Park on Saturday evening, resulting in two fatalities and four injuries. According to police, the suspect remains at large. The previous week, a shooting at the Old National Bank resulted in the death of five people.
