The authorities in Mississippi believe that a woman shot and killed her husband while the two of them were broadcasting live on Facebook.
Deputies from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of domestic violence at 500 Green Tree Drive at 7:42 a.m. on Saturday, according to a press release. They discovered a man killed by a single gunshot when they arrived.
Mississippi Authorities Claim Killing Starts With A Fight
Kadejah Michelle Brown, age 28, was arrested on suspicion that she shot and killed her husband. She is accused of murder.
The sheriff’s office stated only that the victim was 28 years old, but the coroner’s office confirmed to the Commercial Dispatch that the victim was Jeremy Brown, a resident of the residence. It was determined that he died instantly.
Investigators believe that a physical altercation occurred between the couple. Facebook Live captured the incident live. According to the Commercial Dispatch, only the shooting’s audio was uploaded to Facebook.
Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins stated to the newspaper, “The phone was thrown down, and then you heard the shot.”
The sheriff’s office stated that a 9 mm handgun and other physical evidence were recovered at the scene. Brown was arrested and taken to the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center pending her initial court appearance. No bond has yet been established.

US Family Violence
Brown and the victim had a checkered past of domestic violence. “The victim’s family is in our thoughts and prayers following this tragic and senseless murder. We expect Brown to be held accountable by the criminal justice system now that she has been apprehended,” Hawkins said.
This year, similar acts of family violence have occurred throughout the United States. A man was arrested in Alabama earlier this month on suspicion of killing his parents.
According to a Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office press release, Trinell Brown, 25, allegedly confessed to the crime to witnesses.
Before allegedly shooting and killing his parents, investigators believe Brown went to their home to confront them over an ongoing family dispute.
