A trans woman predator was found guilty of attacking a friend with her private part only weeks after being freed from jail for child sex offenses.
Lexi-Rose Crawford, a biological male who now identifies as female, was previously sentenced to four years in prison for having internet sexual contact with a minor. In January 2019, after she was freed from prison, she began using a female name and feminine pronouns for the first time, but within weeks she had raped a defenseless friend.
Trans Woman Sexually Assaults Friends After Release in Prison
Crawford, 24, testified at Bristol Crown Court that she suffered from blackouts and could not recall the incident; yet, the jury found her guilty on Friday after less than two hours of deliberation.
The former volunteer guitar technician stared blankly ahead as verdicts of guilt were rendered for sexual assault. She was released on bail until her sentencing on May 10.
Despite being called to as Miss by attorneys and Judge Michael Longman during the four-day trial, it is anticipated Crawford will be transported to a male prison if she receives a prison sentence.
On the formal indictment presented in court, the assault charge further said that her private part was utilized during the rape.
On the first day of her trial, Crawford had long, brown hair with blonde highlights, a little mustache, and stubble; on the second day, she was clean-shaven.
According to the victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, Crawford visited their home in April 2019 to play computer games. The defendant started assaulting the victim. The victim stated that they later pretended to fall asleep to terminate the torture.
When asked why they did not attempt to resist Crawford, they responded, “What could I have done to stop her without using physical force?” And that could have been my fault for using physical force to stop her.
Prosecutor David Scutt believed Crawford’s memory loss claim, which was unsupported by medical evidence, was a convenient excuse. Mr. Scutt stated, ‘It appears you can recall the positive details, but not the negative ones. Are you feigning that you cannot recall?
Only now can it be stated that Crawford was imprisoned in 2017 for having sexual contact with a minor? Crawford, then 18 years old, acknowledged to arranging a meeting with a 15-year-old.
