Dead Michigan Woman Discovered in Abandoned Juvenile Jail
Officials were notified that the Boysville Juvenile Detention Facility in French Township had been abandoned and closed. Once state troopers entered the building, they located Sedoskey inside. Monroe, which is located around 60 kilometers south of Detroit, is where Sedoskey was born.
United and wrapped in a tarp, a woman’s body was discovered behind the smashed windows and decaying walls of this abandoned building, which had housed a Catholic school for misbehaving children.
The structure was formerly a center for disobedient youths. As soon as someone began exploring the abandoned building, the horrifying scene was discovered.
The deceased individual has been identified as Kayla Sedoskey, a native of Monroe County.

Investigation Continues
Police suggested in a statement made on Friday afternoon that they were summoned to the now-closed Boysville Juvenile Detention Institution for a possible deceased inmate.
As the soldiers entered the premises, they observed Sedosky lying on the ground. Before determining the woman to be deceased, the Monroe County Ambulance Service was notified. There is currently no evidence to support any one theory regarding the cause of death.
Boysville of Michigan, which administered the institution until it was forced to close owing to a lack of financing, maintained its offices in Frenchtown Township at 3500 Comboni Road. This group managed the plant until its closure was mandated. In 2008, we determined to quit this strategy.
Immediately call Sgt. Michael Peterson of the Monroe Station of the Montana State Police if you have any information concerning the deceased.
