Google has introduced a slew of new features for Android, Chromebooks, and Wear OS that is meant to increase connectivity, productivity, and accessibility.
During the first day of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is presently getting started in Barcelona, the news was made.
Google New Features
Added features include Wear OS accessibility choices, upcoming Quick Pair compatibility for Chromebooks, Google Keep shortcuts for your phone and smartwatch, and more.
Magic Eraser For iPhones And Androids
Magic Eraser is now on all Android and iOS devices, not only Pixels. Google’s smartphones lost a flagship feature, but other devices won’t receive it free: Magic Eraser is exclusive for Google One users.
More Emojis In Emoji Kitchen
Emoji Kitchen, one of Gboard’s most inventive features, lets you combine two emoji into one. (You can even resuscitate the Blobs with it.) Google is adding more possibilities: You can cross different emoji with a basketball or megaphone (for March Madness) or flowers for spring.
Superzoom In Chrome
Zooming up to 300% will soon be supported in Chrome for Android. To avoid having to adjust it the next time you launch Chrome, you can even make this zoom your global default. You may test the feature now using the Chrome Beta app’s Settings > Accessibility even though it won’t be available until sometime in March.
Google Keep widget and shortcuts
It’s great whenever you can avoid launching an app while still using its functionality, and Google will soon be introducing a Google Keep single note widget to do just that: You can use the widget to put one of your notes to your phone’s home screen, complete with reminders, background colors, and any photos you uploaded to the note, allowing you to complete tasks without ever having to use Google Keep.
Two new Google Keep shortcuts are available for Wear OS users to allow them to write notes and to-do lists directly from their watch face.

Annotate PDFs In Google Drive
There is no setup for it; you may simply start drawing and annotating with your finger or a stylus. In addition to writing or drawing on documents with the default pen (which allows you to control the ink strokes), you can also use the highlighter tool to, well, highlight.
Fast Repair For Chromebooks
As long as the new Bluetooth devices also support the Quick Pair protocol, your Chromebook can now instantly connect to them. Even better, those Quick Pair devices will instantly connect to your Chromebook if you initially connected them to your Android phone.
Google Pay’s New ayment Animations
Let’s say you feel a little guilty about how much money you spent in the store. When your payment is accepted, Google will play an adorable penguin animation to make you smile.
Wear OS Gets New Sound And Display Modes
Google is giving Wear OS versions 3 and up two new sound and display options. Mono-audio can help make split-audio less confusing, and there are color-correction and grayscale settings to change the appearance of your watch’s display.
