The Kowloon City Magistrates’ Court reportedly denied bail to each of the four suspects on Monday, according to RTHK. They still haven’t filed a plea.

On Sunday, it was discovered that Choi’s probable remains, including a head, multiple ribs, and hair, were inside a sizable stainless steel soup pot. Choi’s hands and torso are among the last unaccounted-for body parts.

That follows a police investigation that began on Wednesday, when Choi, age 28, vanished. Parts of her body were discovered two days later at a home in the Tai Po neighborhood of the city, according to the police. An electric saw, a meat slicer, and some clothing were also present in the dwelling.

According to the police, Choi’s ex-husband was apprehended on Saturday at a ferry pier on one of the outer islands of the city. His parents and siblings were taken into custody on Friday.
