Stimulus checks update: Direct payment applications for payments up to $302 to expire in 5 days

Residents of Boulder, Colorado, with low and intermediate incomes, only have a few more days until they can apply for stimulus checks that will provide them with extra money to buy food.

According to the city, the Food Tax Refund Program is available to its citizens annually and pays applicants $99 for singles and $302 for candidates with a family.

Colorado Stimulus Checks

To be eligible for this rebate, an applicant must have lived in Boulder for the whole 2022 calendar year and be at least 62 years old, have a disability, or be part of a family with children under the age of 18.

Furthermore, an applicant’s salary must exceed a set ceiling, which changes based on family size: $43,900 for individuals, $50,200 for a family of two, and $56,450 for a family of three. When the size of the household increases, so does the limit.

Who Is Eligible?

Any city resident who does not have permanent shelter in the city and provides documentation demonstrating that they are getting treatment from a city-recognized homelessness services provider is eligible for reimbursement.

Applications for this rebate will be accepted beginning March 1 and will be accepted until June 30.
