Authorities said a lady died Saturday night after falling from Disneyland parking structure. At approximately 6:50 p.m., police responded to a complaint of a person jumping or falling from the structure.
A female adult of unknown identity was discovered on the ground and administered aid until Anaheim Fire and Rescue arrived. She was transported to a local hospital but was confirmed deceased upon arrival. It is uncertain whether or not she visited the park.
Woman Plummets From Disneyland Structure
The 2000 construction of the seven-story Mickey & Friends Parking Garage. More than 10,000 vehicles may be stored in the garage. According to Anaheim police, a man died in December after falling from the multi-story parking garage at Disneyland on a Saturday night.
According to Anaheim police public relations officer Sgt. Shane Carringer, the incident took place just before 9 p.m. The man was said to be in his fifties. He crashed from the theme park’s Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and was declared dead there.
Since it built in 2000, the parking structure, one of the biggest in the country, has witnessed a number of suicide jumps.
Incident Remains Under Investigation
Sgt. Jon McClintock, a spokesperson for the Anaheim Police Department, stated that the adult female “fell or leaped” from the Mickey & Friends parking garage at at 6:50 p.m. PST.
It was unknown if the woman was a resort guest. The building is a parking garage with seven stories. The woman was transported by paramedics to a local hospital, where she was admitted shortly before being declared dead.
The woman’s identify has not been made public by the police. An inquiry into the circumstances of her death is still ongoing, according to a news station.
