Netflix has announced an increase in its Premium plan features in conjunction with the launch of its password-sharing enforcement.
The additional features include an increase from four to six download devices, as well as the availability of spatial audio on over 700 of the streaming service’s most popular titles, such as Wednesday and Glass Onion: Knives Out Mystery.
Netflix Improved Features
Netflix describes spatial audio as the acoustic experience of the finest quality. It enhances immersion by generating a sound sphere’ that allows sounds and effects to be heard from more exact locations than simply the left and right stereo channels, with no additional hardware required.
The business added spatial audio support to a handful of its original shows and films last year but has now extended to hundreds more titles.
When it comes in March, the audio function will also be accessible on popular new titles such as Luther: The Fallen Sun.
Users can locate Netflix’s supported spatial audio content by putting spatial audio into the search box or by keeping an eye out for a new spatial audio badge that will be shown next to supported titles.
