New release Super Mario leak: What’s different about this game’s new version?

A new Super Mario game has been the subject of rumors for years, especially in the absence of official confirmation from Nintendo.

It’s not surprising that news of a new Super Mario game is not forthcoming, given that the developer is currently preparing for the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4 later this year, along with a number of other highly-anticipated titles. However, this does not preclude the possibility that one is forthcoming.

New Mario Sports Game

According to a well-known Nintendo insider, Nintendo, Bandai Namco, and Now Entertainment is currently developing a new Mario sports game. It is very likely that this will be a new Mario Baseball game, which has not been released since 2008 when Mario Super Sluggers for the Nintendo Wii was released.

Sadly, this is the entirety of the report, with the exception of a brief tease that it will feature guest characters, specifically Pac-Man.

Zippo Speaks, an insider and leaker who has proven reliable in the past, particularly when it comes to Nintendo and Persona, is the source of the report. And for what it’s worth, they have reported on previous new Mario Sports installments prior to their official announcement.

Zippo, a well-known leaker of Nintendo-related information, claimed in a blog post published at the end of 2017 that not only was a new Super Mario game on the horizon, but it would be a traditional 2D title.

A new Super Mario game has been the subject of rumors for years, especially in the absence of official confirmation from Nintendo.

In addition, Zippo stated that the next Super Mario game would feature four playable characters, as opposed to just Mario, and that players would be able to choose between Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad.

The game has apparently been in development for three years and is nearing completion, with an anticipated release date of 2023 or 2024.n the past, not all of Zippo’s predictions have come true, so it is uncertain how serious gamers should take this.

Nonetheless, if Nintendo wishes to create a more unified brand, additional rumors that future Super Mario games will incorporate the upcoming film’s visuals appear credible. A return to Super Mario’s 2D platforming roots could be a nostalgic treat for fans, although the game’s art style will reportedly surprise players, and it will reportedly feature online multiplayer.

Even Foreman Spike, a lesser-known character from Wrecking Crew, has been rumored to return; however, gamers may have to wait a while before these rumors can be put to rest.
