Elon Musk, Twitter’s chief executive officer, has guaranteed that the social media titan will undergo significant adjustments, including the option for users to go ad-free.
Musk tweeted over the weekend, Ads are too frequent and too large on Twitter. Taking steps in the coming weeks to remedy both issues.
Twitter’s Ad-Free
Musk stated that Twitter will eventually provide a more expensive subscription that prohibits advertisements.
Twitter currently provides a monthly subscription called Twitter Blue. Access to premium services and the blue verification checkmark costs users $8 per month.
Musk started the service in November 2022 in an effort to increase income through paid memberships. Twitter has recently announced that it will provide a discounted annual plan for Twitter Blue subscribers.
The business announced that users can subscribe to the service for $84 annually, as opposed to $8 on the web and $11 on Apple devices per month. The lower annual fee is exclusive to users in the United States, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Musk stated last month that Twitter faces a negative cash flow of $3 billion next year. A launch date for the new ad-free subscription option on Twitter was not given by Musk.

Elon Musk increases Home’s Security
Meanwhile, Elon Musk stated in a recent interview that he had built stringent security measures at his father Errol’s property in South Africa out of fear of potential threats to the family.
Errol Musk stated that his residence’s upgraded security systems include a video surveillance system that operates around the clock, an electric fence, and a backup power system.
Musk’s father stated in an interview with the US Sun published last Friday that his son determined, in light of recent threats against him, that he, too, needs protection. If they kidnap one of us, it will be the quickest $20 million anyone’s ever made in their whole life.
The elder Musk stated that he was approached by Elon’s folks and then informed in December that a security firm would be improving his home’s defenses and providing 24/7 support.
They are singularly focused on me. He stated that it is a brand-new, humongous security firm armed to the teeth. They always check on me. If they observe a foreign vehicle in my driveway, they will inquire about my well-being.
Errol Musk informed the newspaper that his home was broken into four times in the year preceding the installation of security systems.
