The Mega Millions jackpot has grown to an estimated $940 million as another drawing produced numerous losers but no grand prize winner.
The winning numbers were drawn as follows: 25, 29, 33, 41, 44, and the gold Mega Ball 18.
Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $940 Million
The new $940 million jackpot is payable as an annuity over 29 years to a winner who chooses this method of payment. Nearly all winners choose a cash prize, which for Friday night’s drawing would amount to an estimated $483,500,000.
The new prize will remain the sixth-largest jackpot in the history of the United States.
Mega Millions claimed in a statement that there were over 2.9 million winning tickets worth varying sums in Tuesday’s drawing, including three $4 million winning tickets sold in Arizona, Mississippi, and South Dakota.
The first five numbers were matched by six persons. Three people earned $1 million apiece, while three others won $4 million thanks to the mega pier.

Jackpot Prize Could Reach Billion
There have been 23 consecutive drawings without a winner of the estimated $785 million jackpot, as there were none on Tuesday.
A single winner in South Carolina claimed the $1.54 billion Mega Millions jackpot in October 2018.
The largest prize in U.S. lottery history was granted in November 2022, when one person won $2.04 billion in the Powerball drawing. This individual has not yet claimed their prize.
The next drawing will take place on Friday evening.
