Officials with the Michigan Lottery claim that a 70-year-old woman who frequently plays Powerball now understands what it’s like to win.
The numbers on Joyce Ewald’s ticket for the Nov. 5 drawing were 28-45-53-56-69 PB:20, according to a Dec. 5 news release from lottery officials. Ewald is from St. Clair Shores.

Ewald matched four white balls, the Powerball, and those numbers, as per the authorities, making her eligible for a $50,000 award.
