Sharon was having a medical problem at the end of “Work, Don’t Worry,” the fourth episode of Fire Country. At the beginning of the episode, she was telling her husband, Vince, that she is eligible for a trial that could slow the progress of her chronic kidney disease. They are taking 500 people, and since her health hasn’t gotten worse, she is a good candidate.
But the way the episode ended could mean that Sharon’s condition is getting worse, which would make it impossible for her to join the trial. It also means that Bode might find out about her condition sooner than planned. So far, he hasn’t been told anything, but that might not last for long. In episode 5, “Get Some, Be Safe,” his uncle Luke is also coming to town.
If Luke knows that his sister-in-law is sick, Bode might be able to find out from him. Hopefully, Sharon will be the one to tell her son she’s sick, but if she waits too long, that might not happen. Here’s more about the next show!
