People have the exclusive news that the 90 Day Fiancé star got married to her longtime boyfriend Florian Sukaj on Thursday at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina in Connecticut.
Silva, 48, tells PEOPLE, “This is the moment we’ve been waiting for.” “We’ve been together for eight years and been through a lot together, but our love is still going strong. We’ve arrived. We made it. It’s beautiful to say our vows in front of family and friends.”
The couple, who met on Instagram, got married for the first time in April 2020. It was a small ceremony with just the two of them and the person who was marrying them.
“Even though everyone was on lockdown at the time, it was very special and different. We wanted to make sure everyone was safe and do things the right way, just like everyone else, and our love couldn’t wait any longer “says Silva. “Because it was so personal, we’ll never forget that moment. But we’ve always wanted our wedding to be perfect.”

Danielle Rothweiler, a wedding planner, helped the couple plan their “modern and chic” wedding. The ceremony and reception were decorated with lots of candlelight and crystals in shades of white, pale pink, and ivory.
Stacey liked the idea of having the whole day be all white, so we used beautiful white flowers in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception,” says Rothweiler. “She really wanted it to feel small and special so that they could finally tell their closest friends and family about their marriage.”
During the cocktail hour, the couple’s 40 guests ate sausage-stuffed mushroom caps, fig and goat cheese tarts, and pesto-marinated tomato and mozzarella skewers. Dinner was short rib and salmon with whipped mashed potatoes and broccolini.

The five-tiered red velvet cake was filled with white chocolate cream cheese and had a white fondant border with rhinestones. Silva says, “We chose red velvet because it is the color of love.”
Katerina Bocci, an Albanian-American designer, made the bride’s dress. “Her dresses are very haute couture,” says Silva. “She just made the dress of my dreams. It’s the most beautiful, amazing dress I could have ever, ever, ever imagined.”
Now that the couple is getting ready to plan their honeymoon, which Silva says will be “somewhere tropical and beautiful,” they are still enjoying all the special moments from their wedding day.
She adds, “We’re happier than ever.” “It felt right when we said our vows.” Sign up for PEOPLE’s free daily newsletter and never miss a story, from juicy celebrity news to interesting human interest stories.
