Management of Novice Alchemist Episode 5 is set to come out this week. Since November 2018, the Japanese light novel series Management of Novice Alchemist has been posted online in parts on Shsetsuka ni Nar, a website where users write their own novels. It was written by Mizuho Itsuki, and Fumi did the pictures for it.
Since September 2019, Fujimi Shobo has put out six manga collections under the name Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. Since December 2020, the Comic Valkyrie website has been putting out a manga serialization. There have been three volumes of tank-bon so far. In October 2022, ENGI made a TV show that was based on manga and was animated.
Fujimi Fantasia Bunko announced on September 18, 2021, that the book will be turned into an anime TV series. The series will be produced by ENGI and directed by Hiroshi Ikehata. Shigeru Murakoshi will write the scripts, Ysuke It will be the chief animation director and design the characters, and Harumi Fuuki will make the soundtrack.
It first aired on TV on October 3, 2022, on AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, SUN, and BS NTV. Aguri Nishi sings the opening theme, “Hajimaru Welcome,” and Nanaka Suwa sings the ending theme, “Fine Days.” The show is licensed for markets outside of Asia by AMC Networks through Sentai Filmworks. A lonely orphan really only has one way to make a living and be successful. To get a national qualification in alchemy, that is. Sarasa only needs the talent to finish the Royal Alchemist Training Academy. When she does, her teacher gives her the keys to a store.
Sarasa’s kind mentor sends her on her journey. She hopes to become an alchemist and live a more refined life. But when she gets there, she is surprised to find that the area is even more rural than she thought. Even in such a place, she still needs to run a store to make a living.

So far, Sarasa has killed the Grizzly easily by using her training to get important alchemy materials from it. However, she found signs that the animal was hungry. She is afraid that if she gives her services away for free, her business will fail and more people will die. The other hunter-gatherers who worked for Sarasa quit their jobs to save themselves, which hurt her business a lot.

In Episode 4, Sarasa asks Iris and Kate to move in with her so they can help her run the store. Sarasa opens the store even though it needs to be fixed since most of the hamlet does after the Grizzly raid. She even gives people a discount if they bring back empty potion bottles to be used again. Sarasa makes a deal with the mayor.
In exchange for letting her keep the Grizzlies’ alchemical parts, she will share the money she gets from selling their meat and skins with the villagers.

Sarasa also wants to make connections with the two alchemists in the nearby town of South Straub. The first alchemist’s attempt to trick her makes her feel bad, but the second alchemist, Leonora, is much more understanding. After selling the Grizzly parts, Sarasa has enough money to buy the materials she needs and pay Geberk to fix the store and put it in a kitchen with a magic stove she made through alchemy.
Delal spends a lot of money on two magic stoves for the bar. These stoves don’t need fuel, so Delal spends a lot of money on them. After setting up the kitchen, Sarasa has a tea party with Lorea, Kate, and Iris. Sarasa thinks about making a new product that people will want to use every day.
