Bethesda is using the month of October to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first game in the Fallout series, which came out in October 1997.
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel was the first two games in the series. They were made by the original creators of the series, Interplay Entertainment.
With Fallout 3, Bethesda stepped in to bring the series back to life. Instead of the turn-based games of the first two games, they made one that was more like their other series, The Elder Scrolls.
In 2015, Fallout 4 sold a lot of copies and got good reviews. Now, the game is more well-known than ever because Amazon Prime Video made a TV version.
The same thing can’t be said about Fallout 76, an MMO game that Bethesda had to fix for years after it came out with all of its major parts broken.
Even though Fallout 5 won’t be out for a few years, the company looked ahead to a brighter future earlier this year. Here is what we know so far about the fifth book in the post-apocalyptic series.
Fallout 5 Release Date
Fallout 5 doesn’t have a set release date yet for any platform. The earliest Fallout 5 could come out is in 2024, but even that seems optimistic.
Bethesda has confirmed the existence of Fallout 5. (in some sort of capacity). In November 2021, Todd Howard told IGN that the studio has a “one-pager” about Fallout 5. Howard said, “If I could wave my hand and have [Fallout 5] out, I’d like to find a way to speed up what we do, but I can’t say or commit to anything today, like what’s going to happen or when.”
Fallout 5 Anniversary
The new teaser for the Fallout Miami DLC shows new footage from the game.
The people who made this ambitious fan extension for Fallout 4 have put out a clip called an “anniversary reel” that shows environments from the game. Even though it was made by a fan, the three-minute film has some great footage.
PC and Xbox users will be able to play Fallout: Miami. The DLC-sized mod has the main mission, side quests, new characters, and new allies. Here is the trailer for the new Fallout: Miami game.

The main theme of the mod is “order vs. freedom.” This adventure takes place in Miami Beach after the end of the end. Once a popular place for tourists, it is now home to a strange mix of groups and societies, each with its own culture and way of dealing with the world after the nuclear war.
The Nuclear Patriots are now a threat to the slaver kingdom of Sunshine Cove, which used to be very powerful. While the groups in Miami fight over the Vacation Wasteland, a piece of the old world that has been forgotten for a long time waits to take over America.
No date has been set for the release of Fallout Miami, but those who are interested can download two separate releases, including the Miami Misadventures episodic mod, which sends players on a short journey to get revenge for a Southern caravan merchant. The PC version and the Xbox version are separate.
What is Fallout 5’s Release Window?
Since it won’t be sold in stores for years, there’s not much point in trying to guess when it might be.
We can make educated guesses now that we know for sure that the game will happen, but we still have a long way to go.

Fans of the Elder Scrolls series will be disappointed to hear that the sixth game has been in the works for 11 years and doesn’t look like it will be done any time soon.
When Starfield comes out in the first half of 2023, people are likely to get more excited about Elder Scrolls 6.
Fallout 5 is expected to come out on Xbox Game Pass in the 2030s. The next Elder Scrolls game is expected to come out in 2026 or 2027. That will be a long time to wait.
What Consoles Will Fallout 5 Be on?
Since Fallout 3, every game has come out on the Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
But Microsoft has since bought Bethesda for $7.5 billion (£6.78 billion).
Since then, it has been proven that Starfield is only available on Microsoft. This means that it won’t be available on the PS5, but only on the Xbox Series X, Series S, and PC.
There’s a good chance that all future Bethesda games will only be available on Microsoft, so Elder Scrolls fans with a PS5 should be ready for the bad news.
The same could be true for Fallout, but since it won’t be out for a long time, it’s likely to be on a console that comes after the Xbox Series X.
What Stage of Development is Fallout 5 in?
Now that the game is in the very early stages of pre-production, Bethesda is probably just throwing ideas around the office.
Late in 2021, Bethesda’s director and executive producer, Todd Howard, said that the next Fallout 5 game has a “one-pager.”
It’s possible that what’s written on that page is just ideas for different game parts and settings, but there’s enough there to keep our hopes up.

Even though Todd gave more information at E3 2022, the information was still limited.
“To answer your question, yes, Elder Scrolls 6 is in the pre-production stage right now,” he said. After we finish Elder Scrolls 6, we’ll start working on Fallout 5. This means that our schedule will be very full for a while.
“We also look at some other projects from time to time. These games do take a long time to finish.”
We’re working as hard as we can, but we want them to be the best they can be for everyone, so we’re taking our time. I really wish they had come out earlier.”
People who were born in 2008, which was the year Fallout 3 came out, will probably be in their late 20s when they first play Fallout 5.
Even though everything is going wrong, there is a Fallout TV show planned for Amazon Prime Video, so things aren’t completely hopeless.
