What is Chucky Season 3: When It Will Be Renewed?

Who else on their 2022 bingo card had “Good Guy Doll with washboard abs”? … No one? Just us? Weird. Also, let’s talk about the third episode of Chucky’s second season on SYFY and USA Network. This week, the storyline about Nica and Tiffany moved to the background as the hit show focused on what was going on at Incarnate Lord.

Jake (Zackary Arthur), Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson), and Nadine (Bella Higginbotham), who is new to the series, have taken control of the Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) that was sent to the school to check it out. They want to know who sent him and how many Good Guy dolls survived the crash that Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) caused at the beginning of the season.

But if they think that regular questioning of Charles Lee Ray will work, they are in for a surprise. If our main characters want to find out what’s going on, they’ll have to think outside the box.

Chucky Season 2 Episode 4

Last year, Chucky was one of the biggest surprises. Everyone thought this was just another desperate Hollywood attempt to make money, but the show got to the heart of what makes the Child’s Play movies so good.

Chucky’s plans were stopped at the end of last year, but now he’s back and he’s not done yet.

Chucky wants revenge so badly that he wants to kill the three teens who are still alive: Jake, Devon, and Lexy. He also wants to kill his ex-girlfriend Tiffany, who is now his enemy.

If you’ve been watching Chucky, you’ll probably want to know when the next episode will come out.

Here is all the information you need about Chucky Season 2 Episode 4, like when it will come out and where you can watch it.

Where Can I Watch

Fans in the U.S. will only be able to watch new Chucky episodes on Syfy. The streaming service already has all of the episodes from the first season.

Season 1 is available on Sky Max in the UK, but there is a delay between the US release and the UK release. At the moment, we don’t know when season 2 will come out.

Chucky Season 2 Episode 4 Release Date

The fourth episode of Season 2 of Chucky will air on Syfy on Wednesday, October 26 at around 9 p.m. (ET).

The fourth episode of Season 2 is called “Death on Denial,” and it lasts about 8 minutes.

Episodes Guide

Syfy hasn’t said how many episodes Season 2 will have, but since Season 1 had 8 episodes, it’s not out of the question that Season 2 will have the same amount. Taking this into account, there are at least four more episodes after this one.

The Storyline

Jake can’t give Chucky back to Father Bryce (Devon Sawa), who wants Jake to confess his sins, because Chucky is tied and gagged in Lexy and Nadine’s room. Upstairs, Charles Lee Ray, who is being held prisoner, won’t say anything, even though he is being threatened with death.

Devon pretends to be sick so he can keep an eye on the murderer, even though he thinks this is a waste of time and could hurt other people. He almost kills Chucky when the doll starts making fun of him and reminding him that he killed Devon’s mother.

Instead of threatening their prisoner, the group changes their plan: they’re going to reprogram Chucky’s mind in the style of A Clockwork Orange by flooding it with violent images from classic horror movies like John Carpenter’s The Thing until the thought of bloodshed makes him sick to his stomach.

You won’t believe it, but this really does work. The doll not only throws up, but he also throws out his own violent tendencies. In a figurative sense, of course. Chucky is now a different person…or doll. He’s kind, polite, and kind of cute, which are words we never thought we’d use to describe the mascot of the Child’s Play franchise, which kills people. But, hey, everything has to start somewhere.

The only problem now is that Chucky doesn’t know anything because the brainwashing worked too well. Devon tries to get Jake to kill the damn thing again, but Jake says no and brings up Gary’s death from the Season 2 premiere again. He thinks that the only way he can forgive himself is by first forgiving Chucky.

Father Bryce sneaks a peek and sees them sharing a sweet kiss. As a priest in the Catholic Church, he is offended. The priest doesn’t talk to them directly, but he does punish Devon for Jake’s theft by making him clean up several religious items in the chapel. We think the real reason for this is homophobia.

Lexy is supposed to keep Chucky from getting out of the room, but she leaves her job when the prescription drugs she stole from her mother start to run out (quick side note: we learn that Mayor Cross lost her re-election bid). Trevor (Jordan Kronis) says he’ll make her life a living hell if she doesn’t acknowledge him as the boss, but Lexy shows him who’s boss.

A short win in the middle of a downward spiral of withdrawal. Just as it seems like she’s about to lose her mind, Lexy tells Nadine what’s going on. Nadine puts aside her quirky persona for a moment to offer support and understanding, and, oh my God, she’s going to die, isn’t she? To Don Mancini, Please don’t take Nadine’s life. We’re begging you!

Our heroes don’t know it, but a brand-new Chucky doll has just been delivered to the school and starts killing people right away. First up is the drunk Father O’Malley, who is killed by Nadine strangling him with his own rosary beads while they are in the confessional. To add insult to injury, this new Chucky talks in O’Malley’s Irish accent, telling the young woman that she needs to say 400 Hail Marys to make up for her sins.

At the same time, Chucky sneaks out of Lexy and Nadine’s room and heads for Bryce’s office, clearing Jake and Devon of any wrongdoing. Trevor sneaks into Lexy and Nadine’s room and hides a bag of drugs in Lexy’s desk drawer to put the blame on her.

When the new Chucky on the block shows up and beats the ex-bully to a bloody pulp, things don’t go as planned. We say “ex” because Trevor doesn’t make it out of the room alive because he has a huge hole in his chest. You’ll understand why in a moment.

Lexy and the others go back to the room and hide the body so Sister Ruth doesn’t find it during a routine check (Laura Jean Chorostecki). This week’s MVP is Nadine, who scared Ruth away with a scary rant about bacteria that eat flesh and amoebas that eat brains.

Our heroes think that a brainwashed Chucky killed Trevor, but for once, the doll, or at least one of its versions, is completely innocent. When the door to Bryce’s office opens, a ripped Good Guy doll (do you even lift, bro?) has been sent to Incarnate Lord to take care of Jake, Lexy, and Devon for good.
