As Swifties all around the world clock down to midnight and the release of Taylor Swift’s ninth album “Midnights,” she has made an effort in recent days to keep her fans happy by releasing a few hints about her new music.
She has cited songwriting credits attributed to actress and friend Zoe Kravitz as well as other people, including “Folklore” contributor William Bowery, who co-wrote “Sweet Nothing.” This is one of her many accomplishments.
Joe Alwyn, Swift’s lover, is the one who came up with the alias Bowery. Any Swift fan worth their salt is aware of this fact. As a result of the fact that he was listed under Bowery as a co-writer on two tracks from “Folklore,” namely “Betty” and “Exile,” rumors were spread concerning the real identity of the writer at the time.
In a documentary that will air on Disney+ in 2020 about the project, Swift puts an end to the speculation.
Swift is quoted in the documentary as saying, “There’s been a lot of talk about William Bowery and his identity because it’s not a real person.”
“As everyone is aware, William Bowery is actually Joe. She said, “And Joe plays the piano brilliantly, and he is constantly just playing, making stuff up, and kind of creating things.”
In order for fans to be able to listen to the couple’s most recent duet, “Sweet Nothing,” they will need to wait a few more hours.
