Pauley Perrette Survived a “Massive Stroke” Last Year

Pauley Perrette feels “incredible gratitude” to be able to experience life. On Friday, September 2, the former NCIS star informed her followers on Twitter that she suffered a “major stroke” the previous year.

This revelation took place on Twitter. The actress, who is 53 years old, tweeted the following to commemorate the passing of one year: “It’s 9/2 A year ago, I suffered a significant stroke.

Before that, I had to say goodbye to a great number of cherished family members and acquaintances, first my father, and then my cousin Wayne.”

“Nevertheless, despite everything that has happened to me, I can say that I am a survivor… And yet, I continue to be so thankful, and yet, I continue to be so confident, and yet, I am STILL HERE! “Pauley Perrette added.

The tweet also included a video of Pauley expressing her thankfulness despite all of the difficult hardships she had been going through.

Pauley is most known for her role as the popular forensic scientist Abby Sciuto on NCIS, where she starred for 15 years before retiring from performing in 2020.

“Hello, everyone! Oh my God, the 2nd of September has here. Today marks the anniversary of the stroke that I suffered a year ago, and I’m still here. Yes, I’ve managed to avoid passing away again; I wonder how many times I will be successful.”

“I have both food allergies and an allergy to hair dye, and the former nearly took my life. I am a survivor of both sexual assault and domestic violence.

And I was attacked by a crazy homeless person, and I almost died, and anyway, I’m still here,” Pauley recalled, before adding humbly, “I’m just honestly really grateful, and especially from my rescue puppies who are just over there.” [she indicates to the left] And I’m here, I’m still here.

I feel good. Over the past two years, I’ve been through a lot, including situations that are more challenging than having a stroke.

But I’m still here, and for that, I’m quite thankful. And I’d like to express my gratitude to those of you who are my friends. Thank you. God bless you every one. I’m still here.”

In addition to the overwhelming outpouring of love from Pauley Perrette’s fans, Pauley Perrette’s NCIS co-star Brian Dietzen, also known as Jimmy Palmer, tweeted his support for the actress. He wrote, “Love you P!”

Pauley, everyone in this room hopes that you will be successful, and we are all cheering for you to do well.

Pauley Perrette went on to star in the sitcom Broke, which was only on the air for one season before it was cancelled. During this time, the show was only on the air.

This transpired after Pauley Perrette had completed her extensive run on the television show NCIS. At the moment, Perrette is devoting a significant amount of both her time and energy to her career as a musician as well as her involvement in a variety of different forms of activism.
