The reality TV star criticised the expectations that the famous family sets for young women in an episode of her podcast titled “Just B with Bethenny Frankel” which aired a month ago.
In the episode, she called for a “Kardashian intermission.”
At the beginning of this week, Bethenny took to Instagram to post a series of images of herself while simultaneously voicing her opposition to the common practice of manipulating photos for social media.
She wrote that filtering is the same as lying because it is dishonest.
It causes women to have negative feelings about themselves.
It creates insecurity in young females and an obsession with unrealistic ideals of perfection.
It creates a sense of insecurity about one’s own identity in middle-aged women and mothers.
This promotes an unrealistic standard for males to strive for.
It’s the complete antithesis of motivation. It’s harmful.
It is not a responsible action. It is both inaccurate and insecure at the same time.
There is a line that can be drawn between making an attempt to look nice and blatant lying about one’s appearance.
A few days earlier, Bethenny reiterated her position by stating that the Kardashians’ attitude to social media is “irresponsible” and “reckless.”
This statement was made while she was speaking to TMZ.
This is the point in the story where Courtney Stodden enters the picture.
Courtney provided a response to Bethenny’s claims in the form of a series of Instagram postings, in which she detailed their experience of appearing on Bethenny’s short-lived daytime talk programme in the year 2013.
When Courtney appeared on the show when she was only 19 years old, Bethenny, according to Courtney, “made me feel so mocked.”
She remembered, “I cancelled all of my other interviews in New York City and promptly returned back to Los Angeles weeping my eyes out.”
“She did not make any effort to assist me; rather, she encouraged members of her audience to make fun of me.”
It caused me a great deal of pain.
According to Courtney, how Bethenny treated them contributed to their “insecurities” and “despondency,” and that the experience “added to MY personal eating disorder.”
Courtney stated in her blog post about the incident, “It’s something I haven’t forgotten .”
She went on to say that although she is “fine,” she “just can’t deal” with Bethenny’s assertions that she is “championing women.”
Bethenny is a member of the Real Housewives of New York City.
They questioned, “Is this someone who displays empathy toward children who have been abused?”
“Or who, in all honesty, cares about the mental health of women? And is positive in its treatment of women?”
Following the initial posts made by Courtney, it appears that Bethenny reached out to respond to the allegations that she had made, and Courtney has now responded to Bethenny’s comments in a Courtney heard from Bethenny that she didn’t share any clips from the interview in which she was “supportive” of Courtney’s life decisions and that this was something that Bethenny had told Courtney.
She wrote that one of the aspects of branding and marketing is how a company presents itself to the public.
“Perhaps, unfortunately,” she said. “You were obviously selling yourself in a different way than you are doing today, which appears to be working for you.”
“I hope that all of your efforts are successful. I am sorry if whatever I said offended you or caused it to stick in your mind.
It’s possible that what we discussed helped pave the way for you to take the right steps in the right direction.
“As a mother, I do give a lot of thought to young women, and as a result, I believe you altered the path and path you were headed in.
That is a motivational quote.”
That being said, the apology wasn’t exactly the best, and Courtney let everyone know how she felt about it in the caption of the photo she posted on Instagram.

They were heard to say, “She’s hunting women left and right.”
“That chat contributed to the public and online fodder concerning my personal life.
It helped fan the flames.”
No, you do not deserve credit for my recovery journey,
We will have to wait and see if Bethenny will answer once more.
