In an interview that will run on September 2 on ITV, Britney Spears’ son Jayden Federline, who is 15 years old, will be speaking on behalf of himself and his brother Preston, who is 16 years old.
Because of their own free decision, the boys have not seen Britney in a few months, but Jayden harbours the hope that this situation may one day change.
According to what Jayden says in the interview, in order to mend the relationship “it will need a lot of time and effort.”
Reportedly, he continues by saying, “I absolutely believe that this can be resolved.”
“It’s just going to require a significant investment of both time and work.
I simply want her to get better mentally.
When she is back to full health, I can’t wait to catch up with her again.
According to reports, Jayden also openly addresses his famous mother in the interview, adding, “I love you a lot.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. It would be great if we could have another conversation like this someday.
Both Jayden and Preston decided against attending Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari in 2021.
Kevin Federline, the boys’ father, shared the news in August that their decision to skip the event was entirely their own.
He also revealed that the teenagers had not seen Britney in several months, and he asserted that the singer’s racy Instagram photos were one of the reasons they were keeping their distance from her.

In the interview with ITV, Jayden finally discusses his decision to abstain from attending the wedding for the first time.
According to reports, he has admitted that “at the moment, it just wasn’t a good time to go.”
“Let me be clear: I’m not denying that I’m thrilled for her.
I’m really happy for them, but she didn’t invite the whole family, and if it was just going to be Preston and me, I just don’t see how that situation could have ended on good terms.

After learning about Jayden Spears’ sit-down interview, in which he also backed Britney Spears’s father, Jamie Spears, Britney retaliated against Jayden on Instagram on September 1, after hearing about the interview.
She told Jayden in her letter that she was “very upset” by some of the things that he said and that she was sending him her “love.”
On the other hand, she criticised the rest of her family for placing her in a conservatorship and keeping her there for 13 years (she was finally freed from it in 2021).
In an email to her boyfriend Jayden, Britney said, “Maybe one day we can meet face to face and talk about this honestly.”
“Perhaps, my child, YOU are the one who can explain why our household would act in such a manner toward anyone!!”
