Will Your State Offer Stimulus Funds in 2022?

It seemed as though only a handful of states had any plans to share their state budget surplus with their inhabitants for the foreseeable future. But as of this week, there are now a total of sixteen. Checks for the stimulus package can be obtained from a variety of sources, including grants, tax cuts, and direct cash donations.

The following is a list of all of the states that are contributing another check to the stimulus package: California:

Late in October 2022 or in the middle of January 2023, a cash deposit of up to $1,050 may be placed into the bank accounts of qualified residents of the state of California.

Colorado:

Residents of the Centennial State who meet the requirements for the tax credit can anticipate receiving it between the end of September 2022 and the end of January 2023, in the amount of $750 (or $1,500 for joint filers).

Delaware:

Until the end of the summer, qualifying residents of Delaware will be awarded one-time $300 rewards.

Florida:

Residents of Florida who are receiving assistance from the state are owed a lump sum payment of $450. The monetary compensation for foster parents and other caregivers will be the same.

Georgia:

A “cost-of-living tax refund” is the name given to the stimulus package that is being implemented in Georgia. Those who are eligible and file their taxes as single individuals will receive a payment of $250, those who are heads of households will receive a payment of $375, and married couples who file their taxes jointly will receive a payment of $500.

Hawaii:

Later this month, residents of Hawaii may look forward to receiving another stimulus check. Depending on their income, their tax filing status, and the exemptions they qualify for, island residents could have a tax liability of up to $300.

Idaho:

Residents of Idaho who are qualified for a tax refund are also owed money. Beneficiaries should anticipate either a $75 refund or a 12% reduction in the amount of state taxes they owe based on their Idaho state taxes for 2020.

Illinois:

Tax refunds are due to be distributed to citizens of the Land of Lincoln in September. Families that have dependents may be eligible for a tax credit of up to $300 ($100 per dependant, with a limit of three dependents), married couples filing jointly receive $100, and qualifying single filers may be eligible for a tax credit of $50.

Indiana:

It was previously promised that qualified Indianans would receive a one-time refund of $125, and the majority of people who provided their banking information have already been issued checks to cover the amount. Due to a paperwork error, almost 1.7 million taxpayers are still waiting to get their stimulus checks.
