Chuck Gray, a fan of Donald Trump and a staunch proponent of the false notion that the 2020 election was plagued by rampant fraud, is expected to win the Republican primary for Wyoming secretary of state, as reported by The Associated Press. Gray has been a very outspoken supporter of the erroneous allegation.
Gray’s success on Tuesday assures that he will almost certainly carry on with his campaign to succeed Ed Buchanan (R), who will be vacating his position as Secretary of State in the next year. Gray won the primary election on Tuesday.
Gray will not have any opponents to face in the election that will take place in November since no Democrat has turned in the required paperwork to run for the position.
Because Wyoming does not have a lieutenant governor, the secretary of state is now the second most powerful statewide office and is first in the line of succession. This is because Wyoming does not have a deputy governor.
Gray’s campaign for the primary was helped by both the backing of former President Trump and Trump’s constant assertion that the results of the presidential election in 2020 were the consequence of fraudulent activity.
Both of these factors contributed to the success of Gray’s campaign. He travelled to Arizona in December of the year before to take part in an audit of the results of the presidential election that was carried out by a political party. This audit took place in Arizona.
The findings of the audit demonstrated that President Biden was successful in his endeavours.
During the time that all of this was going on, Nethercott came to the conclusion that he should support Buchanan and announce that the next election in Wyoming would be legitimate and held in a secure setting.

Gray made a fruitless effort to oust Liz Cheney, the Republican representative for Wyoming, from her position in the House of Representatives before he began his campaign for secretary of state. This attempt was made before Gray began his candidacy for secretary of state. He was not successful in his attempt.
The vote that Representative Cheney cast the year before to impeach President Trump for his role in the riot that took place on January 6, 2021, was the impetus for Gray’s attempt to overthrow Trump’s presidency. The riot that took place on January 6, 2021, was caused by President Trump’s role in the event.
According to Gray, who placed the responsibility on Representative Cheney’s vote, this vote was the result of Representative Cheney’s vote to impeach President Trump for his role in the violence. Gray attributed this vote to Representative Cheney’s vote.
After receiving support from Harriet Hageman, the attorney for President Trump, who campaigned for him to stay out of the race, he made the choice to withdraw from the competition for that post and withdraw from the competition altogether.
