There are rumours circulating that Blake Shelton and Gavin Rossdale are fighting over Gwen Stefani’s children with the frontman for Bush, and many fans are probably curious as to whether or not these rumours are true. Notably, Shelton disclosed his connection with Stefani not long after the beginning of this year, and the country music superstar expressed his delight at the prospect of becoming a stepfather to Stefani’s sons. According to People, Shelton gave a comprehensive interview at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. In the midst of the conversation about his career and personal life, the singer pointed out that, initially, Stefani’s three sons — Kingston, 15, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 8, whom she shares with her ex-husband Rossdale — indicated that they were not sure the relationship would last. Rossdale is the father of all three of Stefani’s children.
Shelton added, in reference to the boys’ doubt, that “I think Gwen thought, when we first started seeing each other, that it was just going to be a moment in time because of that.” Shelton was referring to the fact that when they first started seeing one other. However, Shelton was dedicated to making the boys a priority, as he had the benefit of witnessing his own father be a loving stepfather to his older brother. This inspired him to make the boys a priority in his life. Shelton stated that her brother had never considered their father to be anyone other than their father. “He took Richie on and raised him from the time he was 1 year old, and my brother has never thought of my dad as anything other than his dad,” Shelton said. Richie was only 24 years old when he perished in an automobile crash in the year 1990. My father taught me that having children was not even something to think about when it came to choosing a partner for a love relationship.

The conversation continued with Shelton recalling his response to Stefani. “You’ve got three young men, right? Awesome! My dad did it. My dad reared me. This is something I’m capable of, yes “he said. “Even though I had no idea what I was getting myself into, I was eager to sign up for whatever it was. And with each passing day, I find myself falling in love with the boys just as much as I do Gwen.”
