The scholarship recipients for this year have been announced by the Fine Arts Society of Liberty, Texas (FASOLT).
Katelyn Singh has been involved in music for the most of her childhood, both at church and in school.
She is a part of the worship team and the children’s choir director at First Baptist Church of Daisetta.
She has served as both the choir’s Soprano Section Leader and President for the Liberty High School choirs. After being selected multiple times for the TMEA All-Region Choir, she was picked this year to join the TMEA All-State Choir.
“FASOLT applauds all of these students for their bravery and perseverance, and we wish them luck in their future efforts.
Christie Bean remarked in the announcement of the scholarships that these graduates are a source of pride for our communities.

Liberty
Vocal music education is Katelyn Singh’s area of study at Lamar University.
Jaden West’s life has included a lot of theater. A total of 15 plays, ranging from one-act comedies to two-act musicals, have been performed by the Hardin High School class of 2022.
Jaden has received four UIL All-Star Cast awards and one for Best Performer. As a high school freshman, he was admitted to the Thespian Society, where he later held the office of president.
Additionally, he was a band member at Hardin High School, where he was chosen to be a section leader and won many prizes.
Katelyn Singh has spent the majority of her life participating in music, both at church and at school.
She leads the children’s choir and is a member of the worship team at First Baptist Church of Daisetta.
She has held the positions of President of the Liberty High School choirs and Soprano Section Leader in the choir. She was chosen this year to join the TMEA All-State Choir after being chosen numerous times for the TMEA All-Region Choir.

FASOLT has been awarded the Platinum Seal of Transparency by GuideStar, the largest database of data on nonprofit organizations in the world.
More than 185,000 nonprofit organizations are officially registered with the IRS, just in Texas.
The only nonprofit organization in Liberty County to receive the Platinum Seal of
Transparency from GuideStar is FASOLT.
The Platinum Seal indicates that an organization has adhered to the strictest criteria established by GuideStar and donors.
FASOLT is always open to contributions to help with the organization’s mission of fostering and assisting the fine arts for all local citizens.
