To safeguard their 16-year-old son Grayson, Todd and Julie Chrisley say they are fighting legal battles.
In their podcast on Wednesday, the Chrisleys advised Grayson to follow God’s guidance rather than following social media trends.
In June, the couple was convicted on federal charges of bank fraud and tax evasion.
The stars of “Chrisley Knows Best,” Todd and Julie Chrisley, spoke candidly about how their family is coping with the couple’s conviction for bank fraud and tax evasion.
According to People, the Chrisleys discussed how their 16-year-old son Grayson is handling their legal issues in an episode of “Chrisley Confessions” that was posted on Wednesday. Grayson, whom Todd described as the “sweetest child” with the “most compassionate heart,” has reportedly been impacted by remarks made on social media.
According to the source, he stated, “You have to be very careful with someone that is so sensitive when you have someone who has a heart like Grayson in a world like where we live right now.” Because it doesn’t matter that he has injured feelings in the eyes of the world.
The real estate mogul said that he told his kid to “spend as much time listening to God as you do this message that someone sent, who has two followers and a cat as their emoji” in another statement.
Julie further added: “It shouldn’t matter what someone else thinks of you. It’s important to understand who you truly are. Who you are as a person, as a partner, as a friend, as a parent, and as a kid.”

According to Insider’s Haven Orecchio-Egresitz, an Atlanta federal jury in June found the famous couple guilty of all charges stemming from a years-long scheme to cheat banks and conceal their wealth from the IRS.
Todd was found guilty of tax fraud, bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the US, and conspiracy to commit bank fraud. Julie was found guilty of bank fraud, wire fraud, tax fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the US.

On October 6, the pair will be sentenced; they might spend a maximum of 30 years in prison. Until their sentence, they were required to remain in home detention.
The Chrisleys have five children, according to “Today”: Chase, Savannah, Lindsie, Kyle, who are also Todd’s offspring from a previous marriage, and Grayson. Following their parents’ conviction, a number of the Chrisley family members have made statements.
