Arming foetuses simply wouldn’t work, as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) acknowledged on Friday.
The two were debating the Second Amendment and private armed militias at a House Rules Committee meeting when Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) made a taunting remark.
Do you believe that the students ought to be armed? Raskin questioned her.
Greene responded, “I believe weapons instruction for youngsters should be provided. “I most certainly do. That, in my opinion, is crucial.
“So they can fend off anyone who comes in,” you ask. Raskin enquired.
Greene replied, “I said I thought youngsters should be trained with firearms so they know how to handle them and understand the safety.”
She then started going off on an abortion diatribe.
She exclaimed, “Abortion kills infants!” “Children are killed by abortion; abortion kills innocent children. They are completely defenceless against this horrifying treatment.
Raskin remarked, “Sounds like you want to arm them.”
She responded, dead serious, “That’s impossible.” Mr Raskin, that is not possible.

She then launched into a tirade against abortion.
“Abortion kills infants,” she shouted. “Abortion kills children; it murders defenceless youngsters. They have no defences at all against this abhorrent abuse.
Sounds like you want to arm them, Raskin remarked.
That’s impossible, she retorted, all serious. That is not possible, Mr Raskin.

She yelled, “Abortion kills babies. “Abortion murders defenceless children; it kills children. They are completely defenceless against this heinous torture.
