Otherwise, the series’ following season might repeat Season 1’s summer debut date and premiere in July 2022. While the release date for Season 2 of “Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!” appears to be for Japanese broadcast only, this does not rule out a western audience. Much to Shinichi’s annoyance, Hana made it her mission to break him out of his shell, and the two became close friends as a result. Shinichi’s buddy Itsuhiko Sakaki and café employee Ami Asai are among them. Itsuhiko and Ami teamed together last season to bring Hana and Shinichi together romantically. In Season 2, we should anticipate the two to keep working on their relationship.
In terms of character introductions for the upcoming season, we may see more of Hana’s family animation. Hana’s mother, Tsuki Uzaki, was introduced in the previous season, while Hana’s younger brother, Kiri Uzaki, made a cameo appearance in the season finale. Season 2 will see the debut of Hana’s younger sister Yunagi Uzaki, according to one of the main graphics posted on the official anime website.
Through her bangs-covered eyes, the character may be seen in the background watching her elder sister and Shinichi. With her brothers and mother, Hana’s father Fujio Uzaki may appear as well, giving the anime series a true family reunion.

Season 1 of “Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!” was primarily centered on Hana and Shinichi’s everyday lives, as her attempts to encourage her upperclassman to abandon their loner lifestyle resulted in countless humiliating occurrences for him. If the season finale is any indication, Season 2 will see the show delve deeper into its romantic side. The anime series has stayed true to the manga, with Episode 12 covering chapters 30-34, around the start of Volume 4 of the book (via Seven Seas Entertainment).
While Shinichi continues to struggle to accept most of Hana’s acts in the manga beyond this point, the two are much closer to accepting that their connection is deeper than they first assumed. Even when the two begin to act more like a couple, the realization is difficult to come by.

Friends, relatives, and even a fortune teller attempt all they can to inform Hana and Shinichi of the most apparent reality about their affections for each other and force them together in the manga. We don’t know how much more of the manga Season 2 will cover, but it should have a lot of material to work with by the time it launches.
