During this week’s NFL Draft, the National Football League has partnered with streetwear artist and designer Warren Lotas to produce a capsule collection to commemorate the occasion.
Lotas collaborated with sports apparel brand Mitchell & Ness to create a line of hoodies and T-shirts for the Los Angeles Rams, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers that feature his signature skeleton illustration and heavy-metal-inspired designs.
The Los Angeles Rams, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are among the teams that will wear the hoodies and T-shirts.
However, despite the fact that these designs are permitted, the young artist came into conflict with Nike when he customised copies of the brand’s SB Dunk sneakers.
This resulted in the sports goods giant initiating a trademark infringement case against the artist. The lawsuit has now been settled out of court.
Additionally, Lotas has collaborated with The Weeknd on a collaborative collection and with streetwear designer Eric Emanuel on a line of mesh shorts that debuted this week.
In addition, he has designed merchandise for the Brooklyn Nets.
In conjunction with the NFL Shop’s e-commerce site, as well as the Warren Lotas site, the NFL collection will be available for purchase at 5 p.m. on April 28, which happens to be the first day of the draught.
