New Orleans defeats Phoenix in Game 4, tie the series!

On Tuesday, the Suns and Pels will play a crucial Game 5.

On Sunday night, the New Orleans Pelicans defended their home court against the Phoenix Suns, winning 118-103 in Game 4 of their first-round series.

The series will now shift back to Phoenix for a decisive Game 5 on Tuesday night, with the series now tied at 2-2.

Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 30 points, four rebounds, and five assists, as he has done throughout the series.

He was especially important in the game-changing third quarter, when the Pelicans turned a halftime deficit into a double-digit lead by scoring 18 points.

The Pels never trailed again, pulling away in the fourth quarter thanks to a strong defensive effort led by rookies Herb Jones and Jose Alvarado.Chris Paul Is in Charge. The Suns Beat the Pelicans Despite the Absence of Devin Booker

Jonas Valanciunas had a big night for them, scoring 26 points, grabbing 15 rebounds, and dishing out four assists.

Deandre Ayton led the Suns with 23 points, while JaVale McGee came off the bench with 14 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting performance.

However, having those two as the Suns’ leading scorers is never a good sign, and they simply didn’t have enough offence in this game with Devin Booker still out with a hamstring injury.
