Video Shows Mike Tyson Punching a Passenger Repeatedly in the Middle of a Flight!

According to video, former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson assaulted a fellow passenger on a trip from San Francisco International Airport to Florida. The confrontation was initially captured on camera by TMZ.

In the footage, Tyson can be seen bending over his seat, punching the unidentified man in the head repeatedly. Someone tries to shove Tyson away from the man. For a few seconds, you will be beaten.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and hurled a water bottle at him while he was in his seat,” Tyson’s representatives said in an email to NPR.

According to TMZ, Tyson consented to snap a picture with the passenger at the start of the flight on Wednesday before the assault. Despite Tyson’s efforts to “relax,” the “overly enthusiastic” man continued to annoy the former boxer during the flight.

The passenger’s forehead looks to be bloodied as a result of the strikes in the footage.

Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history when he won the title at the age of 20 in 1987. He rose to become one of the sport’s most admired boxers, but not without controversy and unfavourable press.

Tyson was convicted of rape in 1992 and sentenced to three years in jail. Tyson has maintained his innocence on that charge for a long time.

He was also disqualified from a fight in 1997 after biting off a part of his opponent Evander Holyfield’s ear.

Tyson stated in a 2017 interview with NPR that he has changed and tries to avoid other people.
